My cousin's Jason and Jerrod and their families were over for a visit and we had a blast! John and Esther made it over and so did Grandma. It was so nice to have everyone together in FL.

Check Up

I'm feeling more human as I got my stomach feeding tube out this morning. It hurt like hell and really freaked me out. My neck and tongue are healing good and I have about one more week of the bandages. I asked for more of the wonderful pain meds, but they down graded me to something less addictive, so no more happy good night medicinal cocktails. Poo. The swelling is going down, but the doctor said it could take another month or two to completely go away. Another Poo. My body is thin, but my face is fat...not attractive.

Wednesday Catch Up

The recovery is coming along, a bit slower than I'd like. Unfortunately, since I had radiation 3 years ago the healing is slower than if I hadn't had radiation. I still have quite a bit of swelling that is bothering me. I'll be glad when I can see my jaw line again! I've been taking care of the house and kids without extra help this week and that feels good. I usually crash right after dinner and let Jake man the fort from there. Chewing is still a challenge and the blender has become my good friend. I look forward to biting into a nice hamburger soon!

Nathan update: Nathan lost tooth #3 while I was in the hospital. When Jake told me, I cried. I hated that I was missing it and the visit from the tooth fairy. He lost tooth #4 soon after I got home and it was nice to celebrate with him. The tooth fell out as he jump into the pool and Jake had to dive for it. Thank goodness we have a black bottom pool so it was easy to find.

He had his first ever sleepover last Friday night for a birthday party. We were shocked when we woke up Saturday morning and hadn't gotten a call in the night to pick him up. When we did go get him he didn't want to leave. Now he tells us he wants to have a sleepover birthday party too.

Reese update: Reese is off to summer camp each morning this week. He is having a blast and looks forward to it each day. I think he was having some cabin fever because he's been so much more pleasant since starting camp. We are still struggling a bit with getting him to wear a shirt at home and when he does he insists it be tucked in. I'm picking my battles and have let him tuck it in although I really don't like the way it looks....he even has to tuck in his pajama top! I look forward to when this picky wardrobe phase ends.

Both boys are suddenly into Star Wars. Jake rented 1 and 2 and they watched them both over our rainy weekend. We pulled out some of Jake's old toys and there were quite a few Star Wars toys that they have been enjoying. The great thing is that they have spent hour upon hour playing "Star Wars" together. It is so cute to watch them.

Reese...all grown up

I've been watching A LOT of Clean House during my recovery and cant' help but think Reese will look like Matt Iseman when he's all grown up.
I'm saying goodbye to the weight loss ticker. Yes, I reached my weight loss goal, but not exactly the way I wanted to. Now that I can eat, I look forward to gaining the last 10 pounds back! I vow to not worry about my weight so much in the future. This last month sure put things in perspective.

Ahh, to drink

I see Jake has already updated everyone on my appointment yesterday. I'm so happy to be able to drink/eat, but a little disappointed that it is harder than I thought it would be. Seems everything this go round has been harder than I thought it would be. With each hurdle I overcome I enjoy it for about 10 seconds before I start focusing on the next hurdle to overcome until I'm back to normal. I look forward to a good fight over who left the mess on the family room floor! If you and your kids/spouse have just had this argument, count your blessing that there is nothing else going on in your life to make you not sweat the small stuff. I've learned that sweating the small stuff means all is well in the world and I look forward to doing my fair share of it soon.

I've had a steady stream of help since I came home over a week ago. Rochelle, Cheryl and the two Grandma's have been priceless. I have such a hard time asking for help and giving up my independence, but this group has made it easy. Thanks!

Jake, my rock. If anyone ever said, "in sickness and health" during their wedding vows and meant it, it was Jake. I told him the other day I was so glad we had known each other for 20 years so he knows I'm not always high maintenance. I know this has been far from easy for him, but you'd never guess he's probably as tired as I am. I hope to never put you in this position again babe.

I thought about my days watching Survivor last night. How they would go 30 days eating nothing but rice and once they got to eat normal food their stomachs went crazy. That milkshake yesterday made my stomach grumble all night.

Hope - 2, Docs - 0

Much like Dice K last night and Jon Lester in his last start for the Red Sox, Hope pitched a shutout today. We trudged back down I-4 through rain uphill both ways to Moffitt (it doesn't rhyme with profit by chance, you would not believe how much I've spent on just green tea and Diet Cokes, never mind Aetna's money on Hope --- I think we're one of the few actually making money on our insurance plan) today for a follow-up and then were lucky enough to get a second appointment scheduled while we were there to analyze her swallowing. That trip to Tampa is starting to feel like the greatest chase scene of all time in the Blues Brothers when Jake and Ellwood (Kurt's nickname growing up) are at one point driving through the mall commenting on its spaciousness (2nd best chase scene has to be on the highway in the Matrix) but I enjoy the cat and mouse game (Itchy and Scratchy, best cat and mouse game ever) between the Staties and me as I've learned their favorite spots along the route. A friend of mine the other day asked me if Hope gets nervous when I drive as I was driving him around (I didn't take the hint to ease up) so I asked her today. She barely opened her eyes to say no, so I sped up.

We met with our main surgeon first, the very young looking Doogie Howser and said Hope is doing great on all fronts. He even gave us the go-ahead to do a swallow test to see if Hope can start to eat and drink orally for the first time in a month. Think about not eating for an entire month, unless you've had your mouth wired shut it's pretty tough to do (my friend Nick to this day won't eat soup from his ordeal). I think Hope feels like Edward Norton in Fight Club when he did not sleep for a month, delirious from lack of food but fighting on while her body goes through rounds that Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt in the same movie --- the only better name in a movie is Keyser Soze from the Usual Suspects (must see movie if you haven't seen it, except maybe Hope's grandmama) and the best TV name is Buck Naked, George Costanza's nickname if he was going to be a porn star) would have trouble surviving. By the way, if you see Reese or Nathan ask them the first rule of Fight Club. I beam like the Bat Signal when I hear my three year old say, "Don't talk about Fight Club."

We could not get our insurance company to okay the test so quickly to have it the same day while we were already in the Tampa Rays land (Kansas City beat them last night so I think they're starting to swoon) so we asked Doogie to talk to them directly. Within minutes he convinced them and we had a 2 PM appointment, but it was only 10:30 AM at that point. We were very grateful but had a few hours to kill so we went to a local mall. We went to the movies just the two of us for the first time in many years and saw Hancock (I love that the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire is now an action hero, who's next, Punky Brewster? --- actually she had to get a boob reduction if memory serves so she's lost out on being Buck Naked the porn star). Little known true fact about Hope, she was in the Ricky Schroeder fan club during Silver Spoons' hayday. At the same time I was in the Erin Gray fan club, and if they brought back Battlestar Galactica why couldn't they have brought back Buck Rogers (another Erin Gray classic) with Twinkie??? To this day though, I still want a train running through my house like Silver Spoons. My other next house addition is a set of circular stairs with a fire pole down the middle --- ever since Ghostbusters I've wanted the fire pole. Speaking of Bill Murray, my brother and I were talking about his best movies and a little known one I love is Quick Change with Randy Quaid and Geena Davis (Mikki tell Kurt to watch this with Bono). It's worth 90 minutes of your day. It was a great break for us to see the movie, and it was a decent flick but definitely a plot twist we didn't see coming. Punky Brewster could not have pulled off this movie.

Since Hope can't eat I ate the whole tub of popcorn because my Mom taught me not to be wasteful (thanks Mom) and I felt like Norm Peterson walking out of there. By the way, my two favorite all-time Normisms (I won't get these exactly right) are when Woody asks Mr. Peterson what he's up to and he responds, "My ideal weight if I was 8'-2" tall." Second best is when Coach asks him how the job hunt is going, and he says "It's a dog-eat-dog world out there and I'm eating Milk Bone underwear (To this day I still want to buy Milk Bone underwear so if you see it out there I'll pay you back)." We got back to the hospital just in time for Hope to do her swallow testing.

She did great on thin liquids with minimal trouble (and it's so cool to watch the MRI of her swallowing on video playback again and again). That reminded me of the time in junior high school when Vince Diller on my same team broke my nose in a game with an inadvertent elbow and Sam Talluto's dad just happened to be videoing it. The next practice we watched the video of me breaking my nose over and over and over and over again. That's the only time in memory I cried harder then the end of the Cutting Edge (actually I finished the half, but then at half time it swelled up so I couldn't see anymore --- I stayed cool and cried like a baby in the car). Hope had trouble with pudding and could not even push a small cracker to her teeth to chew but that was to be expected at this point. So Hope is now able to eat and drink again. We'll see a speech pathologist in about 2 weeks to help her practice her swallowing and opening up her jaw.

We went out and celebrated with a milk shake and mashed potatoes from TGIF's. It was like deja vu because we did the same after her radiation completed 6 years ago at Chili's in Melbourne and during that meal was when we came up with the easy eating cookbook idea for cancer patients. She could not eat the potatoes but the milk shake not only tasted great, but the cold did not bother her and she drank about half of it. I was more excited it tasted good to her then anything else.

It was pouring down rain when we left, so I sent Hope to get the car and pick me up by the front canopy (What, she's already damaged goods so I should stay healthy for the family, right?). Okay I got the car and had to towel off by the time I got there from the pouring rain which made the bumper to bumper rush hour traffic on I-4 a blast on the way home. Every time I pick up a white bath towel I think of Fletch (by the way probably one of the top 5 comedies of all time) when the beautiful Gail Stanwyck (I had to look that up) answers the door wrapped in only a towel and Fletch says, "Can I borrow your towel my car just hit a water buffalo?" How Dana Wheeler-Nicholson didn't go onto a much bigger career I'll never understand, and hopefully we all learned a hard lesson after Chevy Chase (and Pat Sajak too for that matter) later tried to do talk shows. I remember being uncomfortable watching them.

We got home at bedtime after three hours on the road so of course I kept the boys up for about 90 minutes playing wrestle time and chase as they have named our games that send Hope running for a room with a closed door. Now I need to go towel off and rent Fletch from running around with the boys. Anyway, it was a great day with Hope pitching a shut out against the docs, 2-0.

Independence Weekend

We have been celebrating here all weekend as Hope increased her independence. Our in-house RN just left a few minutes ago and each morning she comes by Hope is looking better and better. It’s kind of like the transformation of the scary too young and bad bleach job Kelly Bundy into the yikes Christina Applegate we have today and at the end of the Married With Children series (she’s definitely on the list). Unfortunately for Bud Bundy and me, he and I paralleled our paths from cute kids to “I sure hope he has a good personality and works hard.” By the way, I still hold the all-time record at Merritt Island High School for being told “I just want to be friends.” Hope’s vitals are great each time, she has less draining in her neck where the infection is (or was by now hopefully), she’s eating well, talking better, and slowly gaining more energy. We go back to Tampa on Tuesday so my I-4 break was short lived to let them see how amazing she’s doing.

Since her brother and Dad ratted me out that I do know how to do some household chores (oh I haven’t forgotten you two), Hope does seem to tire each time the laundry and dishwasher buzzers go off, children cry, dinner needs to be cooked, or it’s time to buy feminine products at the store. I used to be uncomfortable with buying such things until I saw a stand-up comic one time and he said he didn’t mind because it just screamed, “I have a girlfriend!” I hate to admit it but I kind of have enjoyed having the time and taking the time to cook again (the last 5 years cooking for me consisted of, “Hope how long should this go into the microwave?) and haven’t done much laundry since the adventurous days at home in MI when Kris, Scott, Kurt and I all lived together in high school at once. Back then our washer and dryer were in the garage next to a side door that lead to the side yard (makes sense, huh?). Anyway, if you left your laundry in the dryer before someone else wanted it your clothes were out in the side yard. Maybe that’s why all the girls just wanted to be friends, I was always half covered in grass. Yeah, that must be it.

Kurt’s oldest son Adam is coming to our place today for some swimming and playing with the boys. He’s 15 and against all of Mom and Dennis’ wishes for revenge (and lucky for Kurt) he’s nothing like his old man at the same age. He’s great with our younger boys that idolize him and we all have fun playing in the pool (Hope of course cannot do so right now, but she will hang out on the deck for a while like she did yesterday with just the boys and I). Last visit in December just after Christmas, for some reason Adam and I thought it would be cool to jump in the pool. We did it twice (like the first time was not painful enough) right after we watched Rocky VI. Since I’m 20 years his elder (but still think I’m 18 with the best fake ID of all time) I probably thought I was being a cool uncle and he felt like he was in the middle of scene in Cocoon when the old farts are doing cannonballs into the pool. At least we’re in the right place in FLA for such things.

The boys have been doing great. They helped me do some cooking, are helping out cleaning up here and there, and even helped with laundry a bit. They always help me do yardwork as they did yesterday, knowing that the quicker it’s done and the hotter and sweatier (that can’t be a word) we get the sooner we’re all in the pool. When we first got home earlier in the week our house looked like Bikini Bottom after Spongebob and Patrick thought that Sandy’s butterfly was an alien and they ramsacked the town. I think everyone should have a special friend like Patrick (I did have one ex-girlfriend not far off but I’ll leave it at that) but unfortunately it seemed like all of Kurt’s were like Patrick growing up. Let’s see if we can smoke this... I’ll never forget watching (and Scott will back me up on this one) a buddy of his sniffing sock strings and then would pull them through their nose and mouth back and forth like they were flossing (kids do not try this at home.) Really, I can’t make this stuff up!

I do have to mention my travels and observations last night to the Coke Zero 400 in Daytona thanks to Spiros hooking us up with some sweet seats and field passes and to Hope’s mom for coming over to help out at home so I could go. First, this was my second all time NASCAR event and I know less then nothing about NASCAR except for my first trip’s experiences. Last time I remembered Dale Junior fans wearing (or unfortunately often not wearing) red #8 shirts. So I thought I’d fit in with my very red Duff (of the infamous Simpson’s beer Duff) shirt with camo shorts. Well nobody told me he changed to green and #88 but it was okay because I’m colorblind and everyone there is so drunk I’m not sure they could see the difference. NASCAR is the only sporting event I’ve been to where they allow you to bring your own coolers in still and if you don’t have 0.10 blood alcohol you’re not allowed to enter or leave. To their credit (and I can’t believe it hasn’t become a problem yet with throwing debris on the track) they still sell 16 ounce beer cans for only $5 where a football, baseball, or basketball game is $9 and up. Since it’s mandatory you drink it does seem fair. A few more observations:

1) They have better fan access then anything I’ve encountered. We were down on the field up to 30 minutes before the race checking out the track (the pitch on the track is unbelievable and you cannot tell unless you’re on it), pit row, garages, beer tents, beer stands, bars, kegs, beer carts, etc.
I was the only person without a baseball cap on (a huge fashion snafu for a NASCAR fan, much like wearing Jeff Gordon blue after Labor Day).

2) I got to watch the horrifying 9th inning last night on a big screen high-def TV in the back of one of the racer’s pit row oversized Kraftsmen tool boxes (yes it was built into it) as the Red Sox had bases loaded in the 9th with nobody out and down 2-1. They could not score against the hated Yankees and are now 6 back of the Rays (yes the evil Tampa Rays) in the loss column. Since it wasn’t the Braves not too many people seemed to care around us.

3) Don’t give race fans Sharpies! They were signing anything that didn’t move with pleasantries like “Dale f#@%ing rocks, love Susie” or “Kyle Busch should eat sh@# and die.”

4) We stood up for the first 12 laps of the race and I mean everyone did, all 189,000 Dale Junior fans, 11 Jeff Gordon fans, and the other 89 supporters. Spiros told me there’s 43 cars racing, and fans only seem to care about 5 or 6. Seems strange to me that there are not more fans of more drivers like other sports.

5) Anyway, we had great seats right where most of the wrecks occurred (and I’m told there were a lot last night) so I was happy. NASCAR does not translate well to TV, these guys are amazing staying inches away from each other at 190 MPH. It’s incredible to watch live, and if you need a good night sleep great on TV.

6) Going back to the first 12 laps, here’s my impression of the fans. They all hold up their beers as they come around to pass us, yell all at once with a blood curdling scream, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH (like I used to when Nature Boy Ric Flair was styling and profiling to the ring) and then wait, wait, drink, wait, wait, drink, wait, wait, drink, wait, wait, drink, and then hold up your beer again and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!. Rinse, rather repeat 12 times and then go get some more beer. We all yelled too when the cars are roaring past you for what it must be like sitting behind a jet aircraft taking off (I’m sure they could hear our undying support).

7) We then went to the bathroom and they have kept the trough system in place instead of urinals, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! It’s one of those things where you try to act cool, only look down or straightforward (never, ever break that rule), don’t be close enough to touch an adjacent man even accidentally while unzipping while everyone pushes and shoves their way to the front. I found out quickly you can avoid the 100 person long line by going into the exit door. This blog is not only amusing but you can pick up great tips for peeing at NASCAR events.

8) I had my field pass and ticket in a plastic case around my neck and I had been walking around for hours with it in a pretty stiff wind (and this is the honest truth) it just happened to pop off into the trough. Out of instinct I reach down and grabbed it (it had not laid down yet but definitely hit bottom) so I quickly hiked up my shorts and went straight to a sink. Luckily no one else went near the sinks so I was able to wash it off and keep using it. What are the odds it jumps off in the hottest, no air moving, standing above the trough moment possible! That just doesn’t happen to other people, does it???

9) That reminds of one quick other pee-pee story (and I’ve got a million of them). I was at Bucs stadium once with Man-Marie at half-time when 65,000 of your closest friends all pee at once. I noticed that one line was moving faster then the others so I jumped into it. It was to the handicap stall and 3 guys were going in at a time. I thought, sink, toilet, hmmm? Well I was the third and had the honor of peeing into the trash can. This wasn’t the first game ever at Bucs stadium, don’t you think someone would realize to take the trash can out or put in a netted one (just a thought and another tip for Bucs management).

10) Two guys in the bathroom did not follow the most important rule of looking straightforward and not talking to your neighbor. One was a Gordon fan and the other was a Kyle Busch fan. They started yelling at each other with bad words I won’t repeat (I only hear them at home when Hope’s clothes aren’t folded properly or I don’t put enough lines in the rug after vacuuming) as they politely criticized and debated each other’s favorite driver’s racing abilities at the trough before the argument turned towards to some of their personal body parts size. They were about to fight when neither one seemed to be able to zip up quickly enough without spilling their beer.

11) We walked down the track level along the fence. The force of the wind and noise created by the cars racing by was unbelievable. My ear rung that was facing them and you could feel pebbles or something hitting you each time they blew by. They have police and security folks standing along the fence the entire race that must be hard of hearing by now. I could not take it for more then a few minutes. That must be what it’s like to get the seat next to the speakers at a Twisted Sister Concert (yes that’s right, huge Twisted Sister fan in the house). I love to rock out to the greatest hits CD with two songs on it (Cum on Feel the Noize and then the instrumental version of Cum on Feel the Noize).

12) Speaking of admissions, I’m a huge Neil Diamond fan and just recently became comfortable admitting it because Kurt was able to admit it too. We became fans watching the Jazz Singer when it rained at Acres of Wildlife in Maine when we were kids and I know the Martins will remember those times. Hope’s mantra has become “You don’t bring me flowers anymore” while mine is “Love on the rocks.” If you saw Neil in Saving Silverman (a cinema masterpiece with one of the best actors around in Jack Black and almost ready to make the list Amanda Peet) you would know Neil still has the acting bug. I think it’s great he took an almost 30 year hiatus from acting but so is Elvis and everyone knows Neil is bigger then Elvis. One last Neil thought, why does a Jewish singer make a Christmas album (these are the kind of things that make me stay up at night)?

It was a great night out, a break I really needed, and had the best fireworks show afterwards that I have ever seen. We know how to blow stuff up in the south! Earlier in the day I took the kids to see Kung Fu Panda, and I don’t care how old or young you are it’s a great movie. The kids love it and it brought be back a bit to my Bruce Lee and WWF days. We’re all celebrating at home Hope’s continued independence so that I become unimportant again like she likes it. Happy Independence weekend to ya’ll from the south.

A Short Post

Hi All, it's me, Hope. I'm sure Jake will continue to post for awhile, but I just wanted to pop in and say Hi and thanks for all the well wishes. I'm so HAPPY to be home. I'd be even happier if I NEVER saw the inside of a hospital again! It was truly a nightmare. I'm feeling much better today, even washed the dog and did a load of laundry! Oh, the wonderful feeling of doing normal stuff. My neck is still a bit swollen and stiff and I'm not eating yet, but hopefully in a couple of weeks that will change back to normal too. Strangely, I haven't missed food, but I'm sure when I can eat I'm going to dig into some guilt free chips, chocolate and pasta!

Mere, had a dream you owned a really cool stationary store.......oh the dreams I had while medicated! At least that one made sense! Sorry for the choppy post, still feeling a little out of it. More later.

Home Sweet Home

We arrived home last night with boys waiting for us eating chocoloate ice cream with my mom (no doubt that was probably dinner). The kids were absolutely thrilled to see me, and I think I would like a similar reaction in the future from all our friends and family when I walk into a room. (Now I'm no huge Oprah fan, but Hope went to a seminar she put on once in the now hated Tampa and came home with some advice for anyone with kids that I think about all the time. She said kids just want you to be excited every time you see them, and ever since then we have always treated our kids like we had not seen them in weeks when they walk into a room. Don't worry, I'll bash her later before this is over). The kids may have also noticed the walking talking mom next to me as they blew past me like Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton (I had to look up his name) in Talladega Nights (Shake and Bake) and hugged her like they could squeeze all of her pain out of her body. They told us a million things they did over the course of the next few minutes, and we absolutely loved every second of it.

Later that evening I was cleaning the kitchen (Hope's brother Will and her dad already ratted me out from previous blogs so now Hope knows I can clean --- if I had any say in presents we buy both would be off the list but lucky for you I have no say in this household and Hope has probably finished her Christmas shopping this year) and talking to my Mom while we watched both kids cuddle with Hope in front of the TV before going to bed late. It was the perfect end to the evening for Hope and was almost as sweet as the first time Screech got to kiss Lisa on Saved by the Bell. Yes, it was that sweet.

I went back to work today (it was really hard to leave the kids and Hope) while we had a home nurse come by and help Hope in the morning and then Cheryl brought lunch and let her rest for much of the afternoon (thanks Cheryl too because Walgreens had trouble with Hope's 87 different prescriptions so Cheryl was able to get them corrected). Tomorrow Rochelle (a friend that's a nurse with two boys the same age as ours) is coming by to help out along with our next door neighbors and the nurse again. It's a nice short week as I have Friday off so Hope has ample time to get her energy back and fully heal. She's tired a lot, but overall doing great.

I had a few people busting on me today for not updating the blog to let everyone know we were home, it's just been a whirlwind since we arrived. I felt as busy and crazed as Oprah must feel when she looks through her 2-inch thick magazine for a page or paragrpah without her name and picture in it (ahh, that felt better). A gentleman I got to know pretty well through work that lives only a mile from our house died of Leukemia while we were at the hospital and while he is older then us by about 15 years or more he had three children including a teenager and two young girls. It made me feel so lucky that all we had to endure was surgery and a few bumps in the road, but nothing more.

We will be boring home bodies for a while enjoying every second we can with the kiddos before we go back to Tampa for a check-up next Tuesday. We'll catch up on all of DVR'd shows (that's recorded TV shows in case Traci is reading this as she's not nearly as technically savvy as myself as the self titled junior assistant back-up co-pilot Gayle King MIS co-director's flunky network non-administrator --- and for the record I know we have servers at the office, I'm just not allowed in the room or anywhere close enough that I could touch a button) including Oprah, Oprah and Gayle drive, Oprah's dog's favorite recipes, and my all-time favorite Oprah picks Obama's runningmate two-hour special as she gives away prizes to audience members that can show they were able to vote for Obama at least 5 times in the last election.

A buddy of mine Spiros that took me last year to my only previous NASCAR experience has offered up to hit the Coke Zero 400 (I had to look that up too) this Saturday so as long as Hope is improving and I can drag a grandmother or two back over that should be a nice distraction. My only previous NASCAR experience learned me a lot (that was for you Jamie) such as that 50% of the fans where red Little E (I hope I got that right or this joke is really bombing fast) shirts and 49% have red Little E shirts hanging out their back pocket and are either pregnant or working on a place to hold their beer while having both hands free. I was part of the remaining 1% but was wearing my 10 things you need to know about Chuck Norris shirt so I wasn't completely alienated. I also found out that finding a person without a Budweiser (or case, quart, six-pack, keg) including the women at such events is as difficult as trying to eat one of Oprah's french fries from 1980 to 1995 (I would swear Sam is missing a finger or two as he probably went near her plate and had some salt on his finger).

We thank all of you for the love and support, and with time we'll all forget this very short chapter in our lives like Rocky V and the substitute cousin Dukes of Hazzard season June 2008 didn't happen. Someone (I think Man-Marie) told me that a sequel was made to the Cutting Edge and it went from the movies to DVD to VHS to Beta to Lifetime for Women in about a week. If anyone can find me a Beta player or DVR it , I'll come to your house and we can eat bon-bons while having a good cry together. Hopefully Hope will return soon blogging but she's not up for it yet.
